Measure performance
We check return and supply temperature split, amp draw, and incoming voltage — low voltage from a long extension cord ruins more compressors than age does.

Inspect the whole assembly
Coils, fan motor, capacitors, control board, thermostat, duct runs, and the roof gasket that seals the unit to the ceiling plenum.

Repair or replace
Sealed-system units aren't field-rechargeable, so we repair the serviceable parts when we can, and when replacement is the right call we install the new unit and reseal the roof opening properly.
